Beginning Monday, January 6, 2025, a contractor for the Town of Barnstable, RJV Construction Corporation, is scheduled to conduct in-road sewer construction along Sea Street, Hyannis, as part of the 725 Main Street Pump Station Replacement Project.
To facilitate this work, Sea Street will be closed from Main Street in Hyannis to South Street. The construction will also extend into the left lane of South Street at the intersection of Sea Street and South Street. Work will occur Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, and is anticipated to take three weeks to complete.
Throughout active construction, access to businesses and residences will be maintained. Traffic management personnel will be onsite to assist motorists. The road will be open to all traffic outside of construction hours.
