The Barnstable Youth Commission is excited to host the 10th Annual Youth Job Fair for ages 14–18 on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM at the Hyannis Youth & Community Center, 141 Bassett Lane, Hyannis. This free event welcomes all youth to meet local employers, discover job opportunities, and learn about future career paths.
Local businesses hiring youth ages 14–18 are invited to meet and interview potential applicants on-site during the event. Last year, more than 40 businesses participated and welcomed three busloads of enthusiastic jobseekers from local high schools.
Space is limited for employers hiring for paid positions. Participation is free for both businesses and students attending.

In partnership with the Barnstable Youth Commission, this year MASSHIRE Cape and Islands Career Center will be on hand to welcome students and assist them with identify job opportunities aligned with their strengths and interests. MassHIRE will also provide mentoring sessions that include cultivating interviewing skills, learning about local workforce development programs that offer guidance to students to be successful with their first job.
