UPDATED: Bearse’s Way Shared Use Path Project – Ongoing Traffic Pattern Modification

 

Work continues on the Bearse’s Way Shared Use Path Project including associated utility construction along Bearse’s Way and Enterprise Road, Hyannis.

 

Ongoing traffic modifications, including temporary lane closures with single-lane alternating traffic, or temporary lane narrowing, are anticipated during construction hours, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. These traffic modifications may also affect Enterprise Road, Hyannis. Throughout construction, businesses will be open and accessible, via posted detours, during their scheduled operating hours. After 4:00 PM, the road will resume normal traffic patterns.

 

Traffic control personnel will be onsite to assist motorists. As always, please slow down and use extreme caution when traveling through road construction areas and follow posted safety and detour signs.

A contractor for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT), C.C. Construction, Inc., is conducting in-road sewer work along Bearses Way as part of the Bearses Way Shared Use Path Project.

 

To facilitate this work, traffic will be modified on Bearses Way, between Enterprise Road and Pitchers Way. Southbound traffic will now be open for travel, while northbound traffic will remain closed. Businesses and residences must be accessed from the north, via Route 132. This traffic pattern will occur Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM and is anticipated to be in effect for the next several weeks. Outside of active construction hours, the road will be open to all traffic.
