Centerville Playground Construction Nears Completion
After nearly a year of construction, the Centerville Playground, located at 524 Main Street, Centerville, is nearing completion. While the site is expected to reopen for play in the coming weeks, for the safety of our community, the Barnstable Department of Public Works kindly asks visitors to refrain from entering the site.
A rededication event is anticipated later this summer, providing an opportunity to celebrate the transformation of this well-loved space and an opportunity to recognize the various community contributions that make the playground so special.
As the project wraps up, the Town will share final details on opening and future event plans. Community members are encouraged to follow updates on the Town’s website, social media profiles, and via the MyBarnstable mobile app.
