Work continues on the Bearses Way Shared Use Path Project including associated utility construction along Bearses Way and Enterprise Road, Hyannis.
A one lane alternating traffic pattern on Enterprise Road is anticipated on Monday, November 17, during the hours of 7:00AM-4:00PM.
Throughout construction, businesses will be open and accessible, via posted detours, during their scheduled operating hours. After 4:00 PM, traffic will return to normal.
Traffic control personnel will be onsite to assist motorists. As always, please slow down and use extreme caution when traveling through road construction areas and follow posted safety and detour signs.

Construction Update: Bearses Way Shared Use Path Project
Portion of Enterprise Road, Hyannis, to be Closed
Beginning Thursday, October 2, 2025
(HYANNIS, MA – September 25, 2025) Beginning Thursday, October 2, 2025, a contractor working for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) will be installing a new water main along Enterprise Road in Hyannis as part of the Bearses Way Shared Use Path Project.
To facilitate this work, Enterprise Road, from Bearses Way to Corporation Street, will be closed to all traffic during construction hours, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, as shown in the accompanying figure. Throughout construction, businesses will be open and accessible, via posted detours, during their scheduled operating hours. After 4:00 PM, the road will be re-opened to all traffic.
Please be aware, as work progresses, this closure will extend into the intersection of Bearses Way and Enterprise Road, and a modified traffic pattern will be utilized. The project is anticipated to be completed by the end of October. Traffic control personnel will be onsite to assist motorists. As always, please slow down and use extreme caution when traveling through road construction areas and follow posted safety and detour signs.
