UPDATED: Crocker Street Water Main Extension, Hyannis
Water main installation continues on Crocker Street, Hyannis. Next week, work will occur in two phases, beginning with overnight work on Monday, October 27, from 8:00PM to 6:00AM. This will be followed by daytime work on Tuesday, October 28 through Friday, October 31, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. To safely facilitate this work in both scenarios, Crocker Street, between Yarmouth Road and Camp Street, will be closed to thru traffic. The road will reopen outside of work hours. Construction and related road closures are expected to last through late October.
Throughout construction, local residential and business access will be maintained.

On Monday, September 29, 2025, a contractor working for the Town of Barnstable, JB Dubis, will be installing new water main along Crocker Street, with tie-ins at Yarmouth Road and Camp Street.
To facilitate this work, a one-lane alternating traffic pattern will be implemented at the intersection of Camp Street and Crocker Street during construction hours on Monday, 7:00AM-4:00PM. Work will continue down Crocker Street following the tie-in at Camp Street.
Throughout construction, businesses will be open and accessible, via posted detours, during their scheduled operating hours. After 4:00 PM, the road will be re-opened to all traffic.
