The Town of Barnstable will be temporarily closing the Eugenia Fortes Beach Way to Water to vehicular traffic as of Wednesday, June 10, 2026. No vehicles are to be driven on the beach to launch vessels. This closure will be temporary in nature and is due to endangered nesting shore birds in the area. Vehicle access will be restored as soon as possible.
