Hawes Avenue Culvert Replacement Project
A contractor working for the Town of Barnstable, Aqualine Utility, Inc. has begun roadway restoration efforts on Hawes Avenue as part of the Hawes Avenue Culvert Repair Project.
To facilitate this work, traffic modifications including temporary lane closures with single-lane alternating traffic, or temporary lane narrowing, are anticipated along Hawes Avenue, from Ocean Street to approximately Whidden Avenue. Work will occur Monday through Friday, from 7:00AM to 4:00PM. Additional restoration and final paving work will occur in Fall 2026.
