A contractor working for the Town of Barnstable, Aqua Line Utility, Inc. will perform final paving to complete the Hawes Avenue Culvert Replacement
project. Paving is anticipated to occur October 5-7, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, weather permitting.
To facilitate this work, Hawes Avenue, from Whidden Avenue to Ocean Street will utilize a single-lane alternating traffic pattern during construction hours.
Throughout construction, residential and emergency access will be maintained, along with access to Kalmus Beach. Traffic control personnel will be onsite to
assist motorists. Outside of construction hours, the road will re-open to all traffic.
