The Barnstable Town Council will be discussing three draft design concepts for the Marstons Mills Elementary School property (2095 Main Street) at their next meeting on January 9th, 2025, starting at 6pm.
These design concepts were developed using feedback from initial public outreach meetings and public comment that took place during the spring of 2024.
The three concepts to be considered are: a public recreation-only plan, a plan that mixes recreation amenities with townhouse-style housing, and a plan that mixes recreation amenities with single-family homes. Each concept also examined other considerations such as village center gathering space, parking, traffic, etc.

This will be the third public meeting on these concepts – the first one took place on October 23rd at Liberty Hall in Marstons Mills and the second occurred on November 14th at Town Hall.
