A contractor working for the Town of Barnstable, Aqua Line Utility, Inc. will perform final paving to complete the Clamshell Cove Road Stormwater Improvement Project. Paving is anticipated to occur October 5-7, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, weather permitting.
To facilitate this work, Old Shore Road, from Putnam Avenue to Main Street, Cotuit, will be closed to thru traffic during construction.
Throughout construction, residential and emergency access will be maintained, along with access to Ropes Beach. Traffic control personnel will be onsite to assist motorists. Outside of construction hours, the road will re-open to all traffic.
