Hyannis Water Supply will be conducting annual hydrant flushing at various locations around Hyannis. This work will occur beginning Sunday, April 26, and is anticipated to be completed on Wednesday, May 20.
Work will occur overnight from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Sunday evening through Wednesday morning.
To facilitate this work, traffic modifications including temporary lane closures with single-lane alternating traffic, or temporary lane narrowing, are anticipated.
Hydrant flushing is essential to maintaining water quality and ensuring hydrants remain functional.
