Beginning Monday, September 15, 2025, a contractor for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) will resume in-road sewer work along Bearses Way as part of the Bearses Way Shared Use Path Project. To facilitate this, a portion of Bearses Way, between Enterprise Road and Pitchers Way, will be closed to thru traffic during construction hours, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM. After 4:00 PM the road will be open to all traffic. This closure is anticipated to be in effect through the end of October 2025.
Throughout construction, access to businesses and residences will be maintained. Traffic control personnel will be onsite to assist motorists traveling to destinations located within the closure. As always, please slow down and use extreme caution when traveling through road construction areas and follow posted safety and detour signs.
