Paving Locations to Include Hyannis, Osterville, Barnstable Village, and Cotuit
Starting Monday, April 14, 2025, the Town of Barnstable will commence its seasonal Public Roads Improvement Program. Work is scheduled to take place on the following identified roadways:
Mount Vernon Avenue (Hyannis)
Wachusett Avenue (Hyannis)
Scudder Avenue (Hyannis)
Shorey Road (Hyannis)
Isalene Street (Hyannis)
Fernwood Avenue (Hyannis)
Estey Avenue (Hyannis)
Pine Lane (Osterville)
Carriage Lane (Barnstable Village)
Granite Lane (Barnstable Village)
Cedar Street (West Barnstable)
Piney Road (Cotuit)
Work will occur Monday through Friday, from 7:00AM to 4:00PM, weather dependent. The entirety of the project is anticipated to be completed before Memorial Day Weekend.
Construction activity will occur in various phases including milling of the roadways, structure adjustments, paving, and landscaping restoration as needed. As a result, adjustments to traffic flow and temporary detours may be necessary to safely complete portions of the work. Traffic control will be available to assist in directing motorists as needed.
