Road Closure on Shootflying Hill Road – UPDATE
The Town of Barnstable’s contractor, C.C. Construction, Inc., is scheduled to continue installation of sewer along Shootflying Hill Road, as identified within the Centerville Village Sewer Expansion Project-North Phase.
As a result, Shootflying Hill Road will be closed to thru traffic from Great Marsh Road to Service Road during construction hours, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Throughout active construction, access to businesses and residences will be maintained. Dependent on the location of the active work zone, it may be necessary to access properties along Shootflying Hill Road from alternate directions. Traffic control personnel will be onsite to assist motorists. Outside of active construction hours, the road will be open to all traffic.

Road Closure on Shootflying Hill Road – UPDATE
A contractor working for the Town of Barnstable, CC Construction, Inc., is scheduled to continue work on the Centerville Village Sewer Expansion Project-North Phase. To facilitate this work, the following traffic pattern modifications are anticipated.
- On Monday, February 16, Tuesday, February 17, and Wednesday, February 18, Shootflying Hill Road between Moon Penny Drive and Knotty Pine Lane will be closed to all traffic.
- On Thursday, February 19, the contractor will be performing tree work along Old Stage Road, between Route 28 and Shootflying Hill Road. A single-lane alternating traffic pattern will be implemented to provide an adequate and safe work zone.
- On Thursday, February 19, and Friday, February 20, a single-lane alternating traffic pattern will be implemented within the vicinities of 567 Shootflying Hill Road and 944 Shootflying Hill Road as work progresses at both pump station sites.
Construction hours are 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

For the week of 2/9/26, construction along Shootflying Hill Road is paused due to weather conditions. As a result, Shootflying Hill Road will be fully open. The detour will be re-established once work resumes.
