The Town of Barnstable Transfer Station and Recycling Center, located at 45 Flint Street, Marstons Mills, will be temporarily closed on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, due to scheduled infrastructure upgrades that require a full power shutdown at the facility. The work includes significant electrical systemimprovements that cannot be completed while the facility is energized or open to the public. Permit holders are encouraged to plan accordingly. Trash and recyclingservices will resume on a normal schedule Thursday, December 18, 2025.
