Great Streets Downtown Hyannis Community Meeting Flyer

The Town of Barnstable is excited to announce a significant milestone in the Hyannis Main Street “Great Streets” Transportation Network and Streetscape Project, having reached the 75% design phase. This milestone reflects the Town’s ongoing commitment to enhancing Main Street as a safer, accessible, and vibrant destination for residents, businesses, and visitors alike.
To showcase the progress and engage the community, the Town will host a public presentation followed by open house on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM in the James H. Crocker Jr. Hearing Room at Barnstable Town Hall, located at 367 Main Street, Hyannis. Live Portuguese and Spanish interpretation will be available. Light refreshments will be provided, and all are invited to attend.
Attendees will have the opportunity to:
- Review of the design plans with representatives from DPW and Planning and Development
- Learn more about upcoming improvements
- Ask questions with members of the Project Team
