In accordance with Massachusetts General Law (MGL) Chapter 87, Shade Trees, all persons deemed interested or affected by the Town of Barnstable’s proposed tree removal are hereby notified that a public hearing will be held to discuss the removal of two (2) trees within the vicinity of 1841Phinney’s Lane, Barnstable. The tree removals are necessary to support the construction of the new Barnstable Fire Department Fire Station Building.
This hearing will be held virtually via Zoom on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 6:00 PM.
Town of Barnstable, Department of Public Works, Highway Division, 382 Falmouth Road, Hyannis – Removal of two (2) trees within the Road Layout. Trees to be removed are located immediately adjacent to the following property: 1841 Phinney’s Lane, Barnstable PID: 277006 (1 18” DBH Black Oak, Quercus veluntina; 1 16” DBH White Oak, Quercus alba), Barnstable Fire District Water Department.
