Citizen’s Academy
Inside Barnstable Town Government is a 12-week citizens leadership academy with the goal of educating the citizens of Barnstable about the operations of their town government while also obtaining valuable feedback and participation from those citizens. The program is designed to improve communication and provide an understanding of the challenges facing municipal government. All interested citizens are encouraged to apply for participation. The twenty-ninth session of Inside Barnstable Town Government, A Citizens Leadership Academy will begin Tuesday, January 23, 2024 through Tuesday, April 9, 2024 with Graduation on Thursday, April 11, 2024. The classes go from 6:30 to 9:00 PM and will be held in various locations throughout the Town.
The program is free of charge and open to anyone who resides or works in the Town of Barnstable. Class size is limited. Please register early to avoid the waiting list.
