The Town of Barnstable has launched a survey seeking public feedback on the creation of a long-term vision for the future of the town. This public input is a crucial component of the ongoing update of the Barnstable Local Comprehensive Plan (LCP), which will define the vision for land use and resource protection for the Town for the next ten years. Residents, business owners, workforce members, and other Barnstable stakeholders are encouraged to take the survey to make their voice heard!
The survey can be accessed by visiting BarnstableLCP.com and hard copies will be available at Town Libraries and the Barnstable Adult Community Center. Portuguese and Spanish versions of the survey are available online. Respondents who complete the survey can enter into a drawing for a $100 gift card.
Public participation in the Local Comprehensive Plan process is also encouraged by submitting comments through the website or by attending an upcoming LCP community event.
