ABOUT THE ARTISTS:

Kevin Reid Haynes, an American painter and digital artist, currently resides in Mashpee, MA. He paints in his Boston studio and on Cape Cod from his home and in nature, contributing his artwork to private collections and commercial installations over the past two decades. Additionally, Kevin collaborates with his partner, John Berenson, as an art consultant for interior design projects and design project manager. Exhibitions in Boston and on Cape Cod have showcased Kevin’s paintings, which draw inspiration from the stunning natural beauty of the coastline. Outside of his artistic pursuits, Kevin actively participates in local races, triathlons, fundraising events, and donates his artwork to charitable causes. With a background in web design, digital marketing consulting, and graphic design, Kevin possesses a diverse artistic portfolio that showcases his deep passion for creativity and self-expression.

“I have a strong desire to showcase my work within the Cape Cod community and believe in the significance of the arts on the Cape. With numerous talented artists both currently and historically residing here, I am grateful for the chance to contribute to the arts scene and hope to motivate other artists to do the same.”

Arthur Tsicoulias is an artist who works simultaneously in the mediums of abstract expressionist painting and photography.  Arthur has only been painting for 25 years.  He began by doing 4 ½ x 6 paintings on paper, in an art class.  Instantly he became immersed in the process of creating layers of paint by using a hairdryer to fix one color, then adding other colors, and scraping with a palette knife. Arthur will incise geometric shapes and lines using a pin, nail, or charcoal lines to add another texture to his work.

“Being a photographer has given me an understanding of the emotional power of color, and composition.  People have different reactions to the mood that color evokes.  Some works are tropical, happy, and bright, others set a more somber tone, but always, the gestures are bold.”
