ELECTION CALENDAR – 2023

The following is a breakdown of the important dates for the election to be held in 2023.  This is a Town Election year.   If you are a resident/voter of the Town of Barnstable and move or change your home and or mailing address, please notify the Town Clerk so that you will not lose your voting privileges.

OCTOBER 27, 2023 – LAST DAY TO REGISTER TO VOTE FOR TOWN ELECTION.

Town Clerk’s Office will be open until 5:00 PM for that purpose.

NOVEMBER 7, 2023 – TOWN ELECTION – Polls are open from 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM in all 13 precincts.

The following positions are up for election:

TOWN COUNCIL:  13 positions (odd precincts – 4 years; even precincts – 2 years)

SCHOOL COMMITTEE:  3 positions

HOUSING AUTHORITY: 2 positions

NO EARLY VOTINGin person for the Town Election

Absentee balloting and Vote by Mail ballots will be available.

Election Day November 7th 2023

Polls will be open from 7 AM – 8 PM in all 13 precincts.
