Hyannis, MA, 11/10/21—Spend time in downtown Hyannis this holiday season. Stroll, shop, and smile along the mile long Main Street and start a new tradition visiting the whimsy gingerbread decor on the artist shanties at the Harbor Overlook, 51 Ocean Street, along the walkway-to-the-sea through the Hyannis Village Green.
The artist shanties at the Harbor Overlook are decorated like gingerbread houses all season long, with colorful candies, icing and gingerbread characters for extra fun memories and holiday pictures. From cookie shutters with hand cut sprinkles, icing trim, wrapped candy sticks to donut accents and peppermint treats take photos by your favorite sweet treats!
Hyannis Main street merchant windows are decked out for the holidays and bright lights and bows aglow in the trees along Hyannis Main Street set the mood for a festive outdoor shopping. Take a fun photo in front of the giant holiday greeting card on the Hyannis Village Green Bandstand.

HOGWARTS HOLIDAY!
The Hyannis and Marstons Mills Public Libraries have teamed up to create a bewitching shanty for all to enter and take pictures in a magical Hogwarts holiday scene. Take home a free book and Harry Potter themed craft. Watch out for Professor Snape, he is a bit of a humbug this time of year!
RIBBON WISHING WALK:
Share a special wish on the colorful ribbon wishing walk.
Add your ribbon wish with the others and feel the colorful collective energy of a community’s aspirations and hopes. Celebrate making wishes and art!

These are free outdoor shows.

Shows run approximately 10 minutes, with a 10 minute meet and greet after each show.

Hyannis, MA, 11/10/21— The Hyannis HyArts Campus, at the corner of Pearl and South Streets is celebrating the holiday season with open studio and holiday pop-ups November 26 and 27, and December 4 and 5, 2021. Free parking available in the Guyer Barn and Town Hall parking lots.
Visitors can celebrate the season and explore artful creations in four unique settings all on the Hyannis HyArts Campus in the heart of downtown Hyannis. The campus includes:

Come celebrate the holidays and fall in love with the perfect art gift this season at Anne Tochka Gallery & Art Studio. Stroll through the decked halls, nibble on holiday cookies, and enjoy complimentary gift wrap once you’ve found your special piece. Take part in the celebrations on Black Friday & Small Business Saturday and the next weekend during the Holiday Stroll when the gallery will be hosting local New England artists Erin A. Ellis and Liz Welch who are excited for their Cape Cod debut.
Anne Tochka is a contemporary painter living and working on Cape Cod. Her paintings are an immersion in nature originating from her ambles about the Cape and frequently from plein air studies. Through her work, Anne strives to convey a feeling that places the viewer not just in that location, but in that specific moment in time. Anne will have original paintings, prints of her Cape Cod Sunset Series, and a new series of large giclee prints.
Erin A. Ellis is an artist based in Somerville, MA. She graduated from the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY and received a BFA in Illustration. She works mostly in pen and ink and watercolor. Erin draws, paints, prints, and packages her work all out of her in-home studio under the watchful eye of her cat Ralph. Erin will have greeting cards, postcards, paperdolls, and ornaments.
Liz Welch is a ceramic artist living and working in Providence RI. She is also the founder of Anyhow Studio, a supportive and inclusive community ceramics studio. Her work is colorful, and utilitarian, and aims to bring a little humor and lightness into your everyday rituals. Liz has a passion for teaching and social justice and aims to bring equity and awareness into everything she does. Liz will have mugs, bowls, and vases.

Guyer Barn – Cape Cod Creatives Holiday Pop Up
Join the artists from Cape Cod Creatives for a colorful holiday reception and sale, featuring a create-your-own holiday wrapping print activity to benefit Cape Kids Meals and mini-photo sessions for furry friends.
Stop in for refreshments, creative holiday gifts, and to meet with the artists and designers from Cape Cod Creatives.
Gina Elizabeth Photography will be offering holiday-themed mini-photo sessions for the furrier members of your family.
