Spring Village Clean Up This Weekend
Saturday, April 23 • 9 – 11 a.m.

(Raindate: Sunday, April 24)

Help pick up litter on the beaches, roadsides and parking lots!
Bring your kids, too!

Meet in the parking lot behind the Fire Station at 9 a.m. to be assigned a clean-up location.

Bring work gloves, small plastic shopping bags (We will supply large trash bags), and your community spirit!

Bring your refillable mug. We will supply the coffee, cider, and donuts!

West Barnstable

Earth Day Village Clean Up
8:30 AM – 12:00 Noon.

Each year villagers meet at the West Barnstable Community Building to celebrate Earth Day by picking up litter of all kinds from their neighborhoods and beyond.

Hyannis/Centerville

The ‘Great Barnstable Cleanup’
Sunday, May 1st12:30pm – 3pm

The Great Barnstable Cleanup is a litter collection event with the goal of making Barnstable an even more beautiful place to live or visit. Part of a town improvement initiative led by Keep Massachusetts Beautiful, Pick Up Mass, and co-hosted by the Cape Cod Package Store Fine Wine and Spirits, volunteers will get some fresh air while assisting us with a thorough spring cleaning. It’s a great opportunity to ensure the community is litter-free before summer arrives!

Volunteers will meet at the Barnstable High School Parking Lot, 744 W Main St in Hyannis, MA. Clean up supplies including; gloves, trash grabbers and safety vests and bags will be provided to all volunteers by on-site organizers, before you continue on to an assigned cleanup area. The cleanup is scheduled to run until 3 p.m.

Please register in advance to participate in the cleanup so we can have enough supplies on hand for everyone.

Cotuit/Santuit

Cotuit Community Beach Cleanup
Saturday, April 23 from 9AM-11AM

Join Cotuit Historical Society and Barnstable Land Trust for a beach clean up across Cotuit’s wonderful beaches on Saturday, April 23 from 9AM-11AM. Volunteers are invited to the HSSC lawn to celebrate a job well done with coffee and refreshments.
