Beginning Tuesday, April 29, 2025, a private contractor will be conducting horizontal directional drilling to facilitate the installation of a private water utility. This work will occur overnight, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM, and is anticipated to be completed by Thursday, May 1, 2025.
To facilitate this work, Barnstable Road from the Airport Rotary to Ridgewood Avenue will be closed to thru traffic during the overnight construction hours. Traffic control personnel will be onsite to assist motorists. Outside of construction hours, throughout the day, the road will be open to all traffic.
