Special Town Council Meeting – Thursday, February 29, 2024
The February 29, 2024 Special Meeting of the Barnstable Town Council was conducted in person. The meeting was physically closed to the public.

This is the first of several workshops on water resources. This workshop will focus on drinking water resources: each District’s public water supply system, including infrastructure, capacity, future needs, planning and protection efforts. Future workshops will focus on wastewater, surface and coastal resources, and PFAS contamination. The next workshop will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2024.
Town Council President Felicia Penn called the meeting to order and Town Clerk Ann Quirk took the Roll Call. Vice President Craig Tamash introduced Town Councilor Betty Ludtke, a Veteran, to lead the Pledge of Allegiance. Next was the Moment of Silence.

- President Penn read a statement from Sean Anderson, Superintendent, Barnstable Fire Department Water District, regarding source water protection. BFDWD was not present due to a conflict.
