Visit Gingerbread Lane at the Harbor Overlook, 51 Ocean Street, Hyannis, along the Walkway-to-the-Sea through Hyannis Village Green and kick-start the holiday season with two days of sweet fun on Friday, November 25 and Saturday November 26, 2022 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

All ages can take part in fun festivities and get tasty treats to eat at the Harbor Overlook.  Free parking at Barnstable Town Hall parking lot just steps to Hyannis Main Street, Hyannis HyArts Campus, Hyannis Village Green and the Harbor Overlook.


Make a day of it and spend time along Gingerbread Lane and then head over to the Hyannis HyArts Arts Campus for more pop-up fun
with treats and artists in a variety of mediums selling original work perfect for gift giving or keeping!  Visitors can spend time strolling along the mile long Hyannis Main Street and take in the ambiance with bright lights and bows aglow along with more shopping and dining along the way.

Gingerbread Lane at the Harbor Overlook is decorated with whimsical gingerbread decor all season long. There are plenty of colorful candies, icing and gingerbread characters for extra fun memories and holiday pictures. From cookie shutters with hand cut sprinkles, icing trim, wrapped candy sticks to donut accents and peppermint treats take photos by your favorite sweet treats!

The Hyannis and Marstons Mills Public Libraries have teamed up to create a magical scene from C.S Lewis’s The Chronicles of Narnia! Take pictures and help yourself to free books and take home a themed craft.

The jolly guy himself direct from the North Pole is excited to meet and greet all visitors on Friday and Saturday from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.

RIBBON WISHING WALK:
Share a special wish on the colorful ribbon wishing walk.
Add your ribbon wish with the others and feel the colorful collective energy of a community’s aspirations and hopes. Celebrate making wishes and art!

RIBBON SAIL:
Artist Mellissa Morris has quilted together the 2021 wishing ribbons. Mellissa says of this project, “the wishing sail is genderless, classless, and full of hope and good intentions. I gathered the 2021 wishes and have put into ONE large magical colorful sail, sending good vibes out into the universe for everyone.”
