Upcoming Route 28 detour in Mashpee.
Approximately ½ mile of Route 28 will be detoured in accordance with the attached plan.
Work is anticipated to commence on April 3, 2023 and will continue until complete or May 20, 2023, whichever comes first. The detour will be in effect from 7:00 a.m. through 5:30 p.m. daily, Monday through Friday. The Town of Mashpee will execute this work as expeditiously as possible.
The purpose is to allow sewer main installations along Route 28 as part of Mashpee’s current sewering initiative.
