Duct Bank Installation on Strawberry Hill Road
(HYANNIS, MA – February 10, 2023) From Monday, February 13, through Friday, February 17, 2023, Vineyard Wind will initiate duct bank installation along Strawberry Hill Road. As a result, Strawberry Hill Road will be closed from Route 28 to Wequaquet Lane to accommodate this work, as shown in Figure 1 below. A single lane of travel will be maintained for residential traffic navigating the construction zones.
Additionally, sewer installation continues to progress in three locations on Phinney’s Lane from Great Marsh Road to Pond Street, Connors Road to Center Lane and Old Strawberry Hill Road to Statice Lane. Road closures with posted detours will be in place, along with police details to assist in directing traffic.
As always, please slow down and use extreme caution when traveling through the road construction areas, and follow posted safety and detour signs.
