Starting Monday, May 13, 2024, the Town of Barnstable will commence its annual Public Roads Improvement Program. Work will occur on the following roadways over the next several weeks:
- Old Post Road, Marstons Mills
- Lumbert Mill Road, Centerville
- Santuit-Newton Road, Marstons Mills
Work is anticipated to occur Monday through Friday, from 7:00AM to 4:00PM, weather pending. Construction activity will occur in phases including milling, structure adjustments, paving, and landscaping restoration as needed. As a result, adjustments to traffic flow and detours will be necessary to safely complete portions of the work. Please refer to the traffic management figures provided for each location. Traffic control will be available onsite to assist in directing motorists as needed. As always, please slow down and use extreme caution when traveling through the road construction areas and follow posted safety and detour signs.
