The Town of Barnstable has awarded a total of $12,000 in Tourism Mini-Grants to 22 local civic and non-profit organizations that are producing and promoting events this upcoming year in Barnstable.
The Tourism Mini-Grant Program is designed to assist the town’s seven villages in supporting events and festivals that draw visitors to the Town of Barnstable. The program is funded through a portion of the Town’s rooms tax revenues.
The following organizations received grant funding:
- Barnstable Land Trust (BLT’s Climate Month events)
- Barnstable Village Association (Summer Concert Series)
- Below the Belt Women’s Cancer Outreach (Spectacle of Trees in Hyannis)
- Cape Cod Art Center (Hydrangea Festival in Barnstable)
- Cape Cod Challenger Club (Run into Summer 5K in Osterville)
- Cape Cod Maritime Museum (History on Tap in Hyannis)
- Centerville Civic Association (Centerville Christmas Stroll)
- Centerville Public Library (Centerville Old Home Week)
- Cotuit Library Association (Cotuit Library Summer Patio Series)
- Cotuit-Santuit Civic Association (4th of July Parade)
- Greater Hyannis Civic Association (Santa’s Boat Parade)
- Hyannis Film Festival (Hyannis Film Festival Fall programming)
- Hyannis Public library (Library promotion)
- Independence House (International Festival in Hyannis)
- JFK Hyannis Museum (Kennedy Legacy Trail)
- JT’s Chronicles (2024 Summer of Positivity in Hyannis)
