Starting Monday, February 17, 2025, a contractor for the Town of Barnstable will be conducting in-road sewer construction related to the 720 Main Street Pump Station Replacement Project.
To facilitate this work, a single-direction detour will be required for eastbound traffic on Main Street, Hyannis from the West End Rotary to Sea Street Extension. Westbound traffic will be maintained, and Stevens Street will remain open and accessible for all traffic. Work is anticipated to take two days, occurring Monday and Tuesday, from approximately 7:00AM to 5:00PM, weather permitting. Traffic control personnel will be onsite to assist motorists as needed.
As always, please slow down and use extreme caution when traveling through the road construction areas and follow posted safety and detour signs.
