The Town of Barnstable invites interested individuals to attend an informational meeting to review proposed plans for the replacement of the sewer pump station located at 720 Main Street, Hyannis.
The informational session will be held:

Previous evaluations of the existing 720 Main Street Sewer Pump Station have determined that current infrastructure does not have the capacity to handle existing peak design flows and is approaching the end of its intended design life. As a result, the need to construct a new sewer pump station, proposed to be located on Town property at 725 Main Street, has been identified.
Staff from the Barnstable Department of Public Works will be present to review a history of the current site, discuss designs for the new infrastructure and to answer questions from the public. For those unable to attend, the meeting will be recorded and later posted to the Town of Barnstable website at: https://www.town.barnstable.ma.us/Departments/PublicWorks/Projects_and_Updates/720-Main-Street-Pump-Station-Replacement-Project.asp for anyone to view.
Following the in-person meeting, public comments will be accepted for two weeks. Comments may be emailed to Kelly.Collopy@town.barnstable.ma.us. The deadline to submit feedback is Friday, March 3, 2023.
