The Town of Barnstable Department of Public Works invites interested individuals to attend an informational meeting to review proposed plans for construction of improved pedestrian facilities along the south end of Ocean Street.

The public has the following option for attending the informational session:

IN-PERSON on Monday, February 6, 2023 at 6:00 PM

Location: James H. Crocker Jr. Hearing Room, Town Hall, 367 Main Street, Hyannis, MA 02601

Proposed infrastructure improvements include new and improved pedestrian facilities from the John F. Kennedy Memorial to Kalmus Beach, relocating the Kalmus Beach entrance, and a water main extension. Staff from the Barnstable Department of Public Works will be present to discuss the project design and to answer questions from the public.

This meeting will be recorded and posted to the Town of Barnstable website at: https://www.town.barnstable.ma.us/Departments/PublicWorks/Projects_and_Updates/Ocean-Street-Sidewalk.asp for anyone to view. Following the in-person meeting, public comments will be accepted for two weeks. Comments may be emailed to paul.graves@town.barnstable.ma.us. The deadline to submit feedback is Monday, February 27, 2023.
