HYANNIS, MA, September 29, 2021— Visit Cape Cod artists and artisans at the Harbor Overlook and Bismore Park locations,every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through October 24, 2021.  Shanties are open, 11:00am – 4:00pm, artists frequently come in early and stay late.  Artwork varies, and is hand-made, crafted or designed.
Artist shanties are located at 51 and 180 Ocean Street, Hyannis.

PARK AND WALK!  To visit the artist shanties there are several town parking lots just steps away!
Barnstable Town Hall parking lot is accessible from Main or South Street with free parking for up to six hours.
From here it is a short, easy walk to Hyannis Main Street.  Follow through the Hyannis Village Green along the Walkway to the Sea to the Harbor Overlook and Bismore Park.  Other parking lots are also available within walking distance.

BISMORE PARK| 180 Ocean Street, Hyannis HyArts Artist Shanties: Named for the seven villages in Town of Barnstable, each of these seven shed exteriors feature “Through the lens: A look around town, past and present”. Local photographer Marie Grady Palcic researched historical archives for many of the Barnstable locales and shares photos from the ‘early days’ in contrast to how the villages appear today.  Other images are part of the “Seven Series” themed images with one photo from each of the seven villages featured.

HYANNIS VILLAGE GREEN:
Cape Cod Ukulele Club, performances on Sunday Oct 3 and Oct 10, 2:00pm – 3:00pm

A whole lot of strumming and singing for all ages! Bring chairs or blankets to watch Cathy Hatch’s Ukulele Club play away, including using kazoos and noise makers too! Bluegrass, Pop, and more!
