The Town of Barnstable has awarded a total of $8,000 to thirteen organizations for summer programming and promotion.
The Tourism Mini-Grant Program is designed to provide direct funding to organizations in Barnstable’s seven Villages to promote events and festivals and to draw visitors to the Town. Civic associations and non-profit organizations that are marketing Village events to visitors and providing programming and visitor services are able to apply each year for funding through this program, which is administered by the Town’s Economic Development Program.
