The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT), working with their contract Northern Construction, will be completing an intersection improvements project at the intersection of Route 28 and Yarmouth Road. The project will include lane widening/expansion, new sidewalks and pedestrian improvement, new traffic signalization as well as utility improvements, including drainage, water and sewer. Demolition of the old KAM Appliance building is complete. Weather pending, construction will be on-going, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM until completion of this phase of the project, which is anticipated for August 2024.
Water utility work at the intersection of Yarmouth Road and Camp Street will take place the week of 6/6/22.
CONSTRUCTION WILL CEASE FOR THE SUMMER MONTHS AND WILL RESUME AFTER THE LABOR DAY HOLIDAY
