Beginning, Monday, June 19, 2023, sewer construction will transition off-road, occurring in the shoulder within the vicinity of Barnstable Intermediate School (BIS).
Construction of sewer force main will occur within the shared use path. ADA-compliant pedestrian detours will be in place to support pedestrians and cyclists in navigating around the work zone. Access via Route 28 (Falmouth Road) to Barnstable Intermediate School will be maintained throughout construction.
Weather pending, work is expected to continue weekly, Monday through Friday, from approximately 7:00AM to 4:30PM. Completion of this targeted section of sewer construction is anticipated for mid-July.
