The Barnstable School Committee is currently searching for our next Superintendent of Schools, to begin serving on July 1, 2022. The School Committee welcomes participation in this important decision by members of the school community and the community-at-large. The School Committee would like to gather input from parents/guardians and the community on the qualifications and skills that the next Superintendent will need in order to be successful in leading the school district. Two Focus Groups will be conducted, virtually via Zoom, to gather input from parents/guardians and the community. The Focus Groups will be conducted by The Center for Executive Search in coordination with the Massachusetts Association of School Committees (MASC), who have been retained by the School Committee as its search consultant. These forums will be held on September 29 and October 5 at 6:30PM via Zoom. Portuguese and Spanish interpreters are available for each meeting.
