From Monday, March 27, through Wednesday, March 29, 2023, a contractor for the Town of Barnstable will be performing sewer improvements on Route 6A in the vicinity of 3010 Main Street. As a result, localized traffic will be reduced to a single-lane alternating, in the area shown in Route 6A Figure below. These infrastructure enhancements will improve reliability of the sewer system. Police details will be available to assist in directing traffic. As always, please slow down and use extreme caution when traveling through the road construction areas, and follow posted safety and detour signs.
