BHS Art Show Poster GraphicThe Barnstable High School Art Department is pleased to announce two great student events, The BHS Annual Art Show and BHS Fashion Show, both taking place at the high school on one evening, Friday, April 29th.

Annual Art Show: On Friday, April 29th, from 5:00 to 6:30 PM at the Barnstable High School Innovation Learning Library, BHS Art Students would like to invite the public to an Art Opening celebrating the creations and accomplishments of students from across many different artistic disciplines. The Annual Art show is made possible with generous support from the Enoch Cobb Fund. All are invited to stay and enjoy the BHS annual Fashion Show directly afterwards.

Fashion Show: On Friday April 29th from 7:00 – 8:30, directly after the BHS Annual Art Show, BHS Fashion Design Students would like to invite the public to the annual Fashion Show in the Performing Arts Center. The talented students are excited to host their first live show in three years and would like to celebrate their hard work. Seniors will present their ‘Senior Collections’ and all class levels will send their creations down the runway. Tickets are $5 a piece and available for purchase at the door. Proceeds will go to support the BHS Fashion Program. Snacks will be available before the show and during intermission.

The fabulous, talented art students of the Barnstable High School Art Department invite the public to a Student Art Opening featuring noteworthy works of all different artistic disciplines created at Barnstable High School. The exhibit opening will be celebrated on Friday, April 29th, at 5:00 PM in Barnstable High School’s Innovation Learning Library, located at 744 West Main Street in Hyannis. This exhibit is completely created and curated by the students and includes work from the fine arts, graphic design, ceramics, animation, film making, woodworking, and fashion design classes at BHS. Visitors to this open and free show will have the opportunity to see an array of work spanning the artistic scope from portraits painted in oil to short films and animations.
