Beginning Tuesday, March 25, 2025, a contractor working for the Town of Barnstable, Central Mass Signal, is scheduled to install push-activated flashing beacons at existing crosswalks in the vicinity of 225 South Street and 525 South Street, Hyannis. Work will occur from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and is expected to conclude on Friday, March 28, 2025.
To facilitate this work, traffic in front of the work area will be reduced to a single lane. Traffic control personnel will be onsite to assist motorists. Outside of constructions hours, all lanes will be open.
As always, please slow down and use extreme caution when traveling through the road construction areas and follow posted safety and detour signs.
