*NEW* National Grid – Route 132 Night Work. Tuesday September 6, 2022 NGrid crews will be working to install a gas service for Whole Foods Market located at 990 Iyannough Road in Hyannis. Excavation across Route 132 will be required and traffic flow will be impacted during the work effort with support from police details. Operations will start promptly at 10:00 PM and run until 5:00 AM. This project is expected to take one to two nights to complete. Typical natural gas service installations include marking out underground utilities within the project area, excavation of the street, laying gas main, relaying customer’s individual gas service and connecting those services to the main and installing meters. Reduce speed, and use caution. All scheduled work is dependent on weather and/or may be impacted due to an emergency situation.
