Starting Monday, January 30, 2023, sewer installation is anticipated to advance on Phinney’s Lane, north of Statice Lane. As a result, Phinney’s Lane from Old Strawberry Hill Road to Route 132 (Iyannough Road) will be closed to thru traffic to accommodate this work, as shown in Figure 1 below.
Additionally, sewer installation continues to progress along Phinney’s Lane from Great Marsh Road towards Pond Street and from Marc Avenue towards Midway Drive. Formal road closure and posted detours will be in place, along with police details to assist in directing traffic.
Roadways will remain open to resident traffic only and access to the Barnstable Police Department will be maintained. As always, please slow down and use extreme caution when traveling through the road construction areas, and follow posted safety and detour signs.
