COTUIT

Christmas in Cotuit

We are delighted to announce that Christmas in Cotuit will return this year.  The festivities will take place on Saturday, December 4.  While the highlight as always is Santa’s arrival at the Town dock, there are plenty of other fun things to do at various locations throughout the Village.  The full slate of events is on the following schedule:

Christmas in Cotuit 2021 Schedule

There were two new traditions that were introduced last year that proved to be so popular that we are doing them once again.  First, Villagers can place their ornaments on the tree at the Village Green, beginning the day after Thanksgiving.  Please do not do this any earlier, as this can only be done after the lights have been put on the tree.  And no ladders or other devices should be used.  All ornaments should be removed by January 8.

Second, we are conducting a food and diaper drive to benefit the Cotuit Federated Church, Christ the King Food Pantry and Angel House.  The outpouring of donations in this drive last year was an incredible testament to the generosity of our Village.  We hope to see that spirit of helping others who are less fortunate shine through again at this time of year.  Unlike last year, we will not drive through the Village – please bring your donations to the Fire Station or Freedom Hall, on Wednesday (12/1) or Thursday (12/2) between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.  A recommended list of items for donation can be found here:

We look forward to a wonderful Christmas celebration in 2021!
