Starting Tuesday, January 3rd, 2023 New England Boring Contractors will begin to bore four holes in the road near the Commerce Road Culvert in Barnstable. Three of the holes will be 30 feet deep with a 4” diameter; one hole will be 100ft deep with a 4” diameter. Work is expected to be completed by Friday, January 6th. Weather pending, construction will be on-going from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Traffic will be limited to alternating, single-lane vehicular traffic. Police details will be provided to assist in directing traffic. As always, please slow down and use extreme caution when traveling through the road construction areas, and follow posted safety and traffic signs.
