Beginning Monday, January 6, 2025, a contractor for the Town of Barnstable will resume in-road sewer construction along Sea Street, Hyannis, as part of the 720 Main Street Pump Station Replacement Project.
To facilitate this work, Sea Street from Main Street, Hyannis, to South Street will be closed beginning Monday, January 6, 2025. A portion of the left lane of South Street will also be closed during this time. Construction will occur Monday-Friday, from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, and is anticipated to take three weeks to complete. The road will be open to all traffic outside of construction hours.
During construction, access to businesses will be maintained and traffic control will be onsite to assist motorists.
