Beginning Monday, January 6, 2025, a contractor for the Town of Barnstable, Central Mass Signal, will install Pedestrian Flashing Beacons at 320 and 427 Main Street, Hyannis, as part of the Main Street Improvements Project.
To facilitate this work, one lane of Main Street in Hyannis will be closed within the vicinity of both locations. Work is scheduled to take place Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM-4:00 PM, and is expected to last for one week.
Throughout active construction, access to businesses and residences will be maintained. Traffic management personnel will be onsite to assist motorists. The road will be open to all traffic outside of construction hours.
As always, please slow down and use extreme caution when traveling through road construction areas and follow posted safety and detour signs.
